Impairment aside, The staff was okay, but Dr. Cahoon was a grouch. He didn't answer all of our questions and tried to get us out as fast as possible. I had to go back because of complications with the surgery site, but he just jabbed the water tool into my wound which caused me more pain to the point of tears, and then ended the appointment. My mother went to him to get a tooth pulled, and she said he was fairly rude to her as well. The office still hasn't gotten us the information we wanted. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
prompt, courteous and professional attention - highly recommended - November 2016
My extraction went well .. Being over charged, an going through a run around for a year has me questioning how honest this business is .. I'm still fighting to get a response about 100 I gave them over a year ago, .. an the best I can get is can we call you back .. ?? I pay good money for insurance which has paid an to be bamboozled by this office has me highly offended
I was never told that I would be going under general anesthesia until the day of the wisdom tooth extraction, when I was too drugged with a pre-medication for my anxiety to understand what was going on. I would have walked out and left. The last thing I remembered was seeing my mom and feeling a needle go into my arm, my mom was supposed to stay with me the whole time, but they kicked her out once the procedure was about to start. The first thing I remembered when waking up, I was in my car being driven home! They never made sure I could urinate before leaving! That night I couldn't urinate and had awful sharp pain, but I was so delirious I thought it could've been a stomach ache and went to sleep. Very luckily, in the morning I could very slowly empty my bladder, but ever since, I cannot feel my bladder. I have lost the sensation that tells your brain that you have to go urinate, so for the rest of my life (I'm 19) I now need to be cautious about how much fluid I drink and plan out bathroom times.
Dr Cahoon is a fantastic oral surgeon. I had 19 broken bones in my face and he was able to reconstruct everything and get me back to feeling 100%
There was so much pain from the surgery as well as a lot of bruising and swelling.
I was put under for a tooth extraction. No problems, no pain. Did not even have to take a pain pill.
