Catherine A. Barber, FNP at the Family Practice Center diagnosed a health condition I had no idea I had and possibly saved my life. If I could give 10 stars instead of 5 I would.

I have been going to this practice for about 11 years now. I have seen my doctor, Amy Robinson, only about 2 or 3 times. I consider her nurse practitioner (blanking on her name!) to be my doctor because she's really the one who cares for me. I have no complaints about her as she is very efficient at her job and just a very nice person in general. Whenever I call the office to make an appointment, I either cannot get a hold of anybody at the front desk or they are extremely rude and condescending (I have had a few friendly interactions however). The wait is PAINFUL. Especially since there is generally one or two others in the waiting room the entirety of the time spent waiting. I would willingly switch practices if I knew of any others in this area. If I end up staying in Sussex County much longer, I probably will switch practices.
I like my primary, amy robinson very much...but their nurse, alice hopple is sooo unprofessional in how she treated me. i had a very bad auto accident, which was not my fault what so ever. unfortunately i could not see my doctor and agreed to see alice. a big mistake. she practically accussed me of lieing, like i was making up problems, even though i am in therapy. she accussed me of not wanting to go back to work soon, and that i was on workmans comp. i had to raise my voice at her in order for her to hear me. i told her twice that it was an auto accident and had nothing to do with my job. she has a very poor attitude and a nasty arrogant way about her. i will not see her ever again. i will wait or change my date in order to see my dr. robinson. after raising my voice to put her in her place and her opening the door then after we were finished she says take care, honey...what a fake!!!
Been my family doc for 25 years!
Parking can be an issue!
Catherine A. Barber, FNP is wonderful. I am not a huge fan of the medical field, due to unanswered health issues for years. Immediately I was very comfortable with Cathy and knew she was the one to get to the bottom of my health issues. She goes above and beyond, she truly cares about her patients. CATHERINE A.
