The customer service here is not good. I purchased an eight hundred dollar table and never even received a thank you from the owner who was sitting at the register as I was paying. Never even looked up from her laptop to acknowledge my presence! Rude! Won't ever go back. I'll take my money elsewhere.
Great store, great selection with unique items.
The piece I bought was gorgeous, but at some point between when I purchased it and when it was delivered to my home, part of the leg was destroyed. I took pictures of it and Facebook messaged the shop within minutes of the delivery men leaving my house. (They are closed during the week so I FB'ed them to be sure to have a time stamp of my complaint.) I waited six days and didn't hear from anyone. When I finally Facebook messaged the store again on Sunday, they apologized for not calling me, and told me that I needed to fix the table myself. They told me I could use a stain. I responded that actually because the damage is a 3-D missing chunk of wood, stain wouldn't cover it up. I then asked them to call me and my partner, and predictably they haven't. We have spent about $4,000 at Salvaged over the past year, and are always pleased with their products (even if, as others have pointed out in their reviews, the service is aloof and unfriendly). We feel unvalued and betrayed as customers. To be clear, when I contacted Salvaged, I was all for hearing suggestions about how to repair the table they damaged as they delivered to me. But after receiving such an infuriating and rude response ("not our problem — fix it yourself"), I am going to have to contact the Better Business Bureau. I am hoping someone at their store comes around before I have to make that call.
Awesome place! The people who work there are super friendly and very helpful. I bought several beautiful pieces and look forward to going there again. I highly recommend the store.
Been in there twice to browse around. Probably 30-40 minutes each time. No one greeted us at the door and no one asked if we needed help or had any questions. If you want people to buy your over priced garage sale finds. You should be a little more courteous to potential customers. Just my 2 cents. I don't feel the need to go back.
