Atlantic Refrigeration just hooked installed my new Geo-Thermal ground water pump and dump system running great for half the cost of ordinary heat pump. They took care of getting the wells installed which made this so easy on me not having to coordinate all of it. Great Job!

I phoned the 24 hr service line at 7:19pm, leaving full contact info and was told I would receive a call from a technician, regarding a residential a/c unit capacitor that needed replaced. At 7:55pm, still no callback, so I phoned again. I was told the technician confirmed receipt of the message, but she would contact him again....
Too many mistakes and missed appointments. We had our home in Sussex county DE completely renovated in 2015. We selected Atlantic to replace and update our HVAC system because they seemed like a reliable and professional firm. Our experience has shown us the opposite. In 2015 Atlantic replaced an oil heating system with a split heat pump system - one unit in the basement serving the first floor and a second system in the attic serving the second floor. Install seemed to go well. That fall when it started to get very cold the heat on the first floor didn't seem to work. Atlantic sent out a tech who said they needed to hook up the gas line. However we've never had gas in this house! How do you put in a gas/heat pump hybrid unit in a house without gas?!? So our cheapest solution was to put in a LPG tank outside (lovely visual from the porch) and run a line into the house ($400 out of my pocket). Now we have Atlantic as our service company since they did the install. We schedule a routine service six weeks ago. And twenty minutes past the hour they were supposed to arrive we get a call saying they would have to reschedule because our guy was stuck on a job! We picked Atlantic because we were under the impression they were bigger than one guy getting stuck on a job. Disappointing. Again. (We had Sherman for more than 40 years and had none of the mickey mouse experience).
Our heating system failed the last week of December and within 3 days Atlantic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning installed a complete new system. The actually came on January 2nd when everyone else was taking the day as a holiday. The crew did an excellent job and cleanup was immaculate. Highly recommend them for your Heating & Air Conditioning.
I will not hesitate to recommend them to my Real Estate clients including the builder I used.
At 11:35pm, still no callback. I visited the company website and began a live chat, explaining the earlier attempts for service. "Kate" stated they may have a "technical issue" as the reason for not contacting me, after I was told earlier the technician had received my information! When I asked, "Kate" abruptly ended the live chat.
The technician Andrew came out on New Year's Day when no other company could make it.
TERRIBLE customer service and NON EXISTENT 24 HR service. Not even the courtesy to notify me they couldn't or wouldn't respond to the service call! Very Disappointing!
