I have a scheduled 3 hour glucose tolerance test during my pregnancy. Apparently this hospital won't start the test, meaning give me the drink, until the lab comes back with my initial blood results. It's been 1.5 hours since they drew my blood and the lab hasn't come back with the results. I've done this test before and never have I had to wait 1.5 hours to start the test. Once I drink the drink I will have to stay for 3 hours and have blood drawn which I expected. Let's also note that this is a fasting test so I won't be able to eat (yes I'm 32 weeks pregnant and can't eat) for another 4 hours. I always have a negative experience here.
