As soon as we pulled in we knew it was going to be special. We have been to many bed and breakfast places but The Blue Water House will forever stand out in our minds as the most uniquely decorated and the most thoughtfully appointed. The breakfast was good. Fresh fruit always available as well as freshly baked treats. I could go on and on.. We will hopefully return again.
Quaint, quiet b&b off the beaten path. Great place to enjoy a peaceful getaway. Owner is very accommodating and friendly. Quirky atmosphere adds personality to a unique experience. I would not hesitate to stay again.
Spent three days with family at Blue Water House. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay! Great rooms, delicious breakfast, plentiful complimentary snacks and a wonderful, generous host in Rick! Would absolutely stay there again!
The pictures don't do this gem justice! Tucked in between greenery and backstreets, you feel right at home, welcomed and relaxed. No stress welcome at this B&B! Rick was always available to reach and the place was just beautiful with something new to look at around every corner. Very funky and fun. I loved that they kept bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys all for your use. How awesome! We will be going back and telling our friends and family to go have a great time in Lewes staying at The Blue Water House!
My husband and I have stayed twice in the "Hemingway room" very clean, funky and cozy. Really friendly and laid back. Lots of yummy treats and beverages. A home made breakfast, just a fun getaway.
