The shower room is absolutely inconvenient
$10 a carload, which was worth it for parking and the bathhouse, which is really a big bathroom. Snack bar is convenient but very expensive. The hot pretzels are excellent. Large umbrellas available for around $15 a day, but you get to carry them out and bring them back - no assistance. Once you arrive and have enjoyed the water, make sure you consider walking 15 minutes south to see Fort Miles which is a very impressive fort with coastal artillery, displays and a very tall observation tower you can climb up for magnificent views. Overall, still a good family beach.
