Update....the manager came out to help with the line, he takes the guy in front of me, then stops in the middle of helping him to take a call. All in all it took almost 30 minutes for me to give them $1100 and leave..all with one person in front if me. That's not what I call customet service....Maybe if I didn't have to stand in line while the receptionist kept answering the phone instead of waiting on the people in front of her, I would have rated higher. So far I've been standing here waiting to pay for over 20 minutes while she's chatting with phone calls. I guess the people in line already had work done so who cares.
In the last few months I've had a couple flat tires and Carl King fixed both of them. They were quick and charged a fair price for the work. I had to put a donut on last time and when I got home found it right back in the trunk where it was supposed to be. That's great service!
I took my car in to the Carl King Lewes location thinking I needed a new alternator, which I know could potentially cost me an arm and a leg! But these guys are honest! They looked at my car and it turns out I just needed a new battery and some connectors. PLUS they managed to get me a credit from my old battery! Such a relief...ended up paying a fraction of what I initially thought and I really can t thank them enough...I recommend you take your car in to Carl King for the same great service!
I stopped in the former Carl King Tire (Now Mr Tire) in Lewes today for some brake and AC work. They were polite, responsive, thorough, and honest. They replaced the rear brakes and turned the rotors, which I knew needed to be done. They inspected the front brakes and told me they were fine. They then tracked my AC problem down to a minor blown relay, and put me back on the road at an excellent price. I highly recommend them.
I had some friends do work on my camper and brought it to these guys to check it and anything else that needed to be done. They explained everything they needed to do and did a great job with the work. We've been using Carl King for many years and have never had any problems.
