Overall I would probably not go out on this boat again and definitely not this summer. Maybe in the fall or spring next year when they go for larger fish.
They tried but things aren't working. Between captain, his dog, 75 and a 15 year deckhands, the dog was the hit on the boat. Every one is competent but when you are working for tips you have to bust your but especially when the fish isn't biting. Wish the best to this place and looking forward to coming back and seeing if things have changed, and change I hope they do!

A small group of us walked over on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. We had mussels in white sauce, the tuna bites, calamari with red sauce, fish and chips, and a round of drinks. We sat out on the deck with a direct view of the canal. The food was delicious and our server, Adam, was friendly, informative and attentive. Great meal in a beautiful place. I highly recommend.
We had a very good experience. They were able to quickly accommodate our party of 10. Waitress and hostess were both very attentive. Even the bus boys had great attitudes and were friendly. A nice place to eat outside with 6 kids. Very good food and it arrived quickly.
The fishing was not good on June 23, 2017. There were a decent amount of baby sand sharks and small kingfish. The pool winner was only about 13 inches. It was a shame that we did not try for bigger fish. I was considering going on the full day boat but decided to go on the half day boat in the morning. That was a smart decision based on what we caught.
The mates were excellent and very helpful.
I have been going to Fisherman's Wharf for deep sea fishing for the past 10 years. They are ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would recommend them for deep sea fishing anytime! Always have fun, even when we dont catch much (which is rare, normally you catch a lot!)
Snack bar is barely existing with some crackers and couple of sodas. No water in men's head to wash your hands off. Bring a cooler, there are microwaves, but not sure if they work.
