Dined at Grotto's last night in Lewes, DE. Great dining experience, 7 of us w/3 small girls, we kept the staff quite busy. Our waiter, Brenden was excellant, food was great, staff very attentive and effecient.
Some of the best pizza I have had since the late sixties. IT has always tasted the same to me.

Very friendly staff, good location on coastal route one. Large eating areas, with large bar and game area. Eating areas are separate from game area and bar so you can get away from the noise. If you eat at any of the grotto pizza restaurants it's worth getting their frequent buyers card.
Some may debate whether or not Grotto is really the "legendary taste" it claims to be, but in the end, you can't deny that it's just good pizza. I'm from Chicago and love my deep dish, but I always make an effort to grab some Grotto when I'm in town visiting family. This location in particular always offers great service with accurate orders and fresh, hot, delicious pizza just the way I ask for it. Is it the best you'll ever have? I'll let you decide.
Meh... I don't get the hype. Pizza is good, but there are so many better pizzas in the world. And can someone tell me why they put the sauce on top?!
