Unfortunately we were overlooked due to reservation overbooking. They were understaffed and There were other issues with our servers forgetting things. I gave 4 stars because the food was fantastic and the servers and management made up for the misgivings with discounts on our order.

We were so glad when Gilligan's remodeled and reopened, we had missed the food and the beautiful outdoor terrace that we used to enjoy. The new interior is so spacious and light, with plenty of seating. The first time we came we had to sit inside due to poor weather, but we had a delicious dinner and excellent service. The crabcake was the same delicious one that I remembered. And we were lucky that they had carrot cake that night because it is the best I've ever had! The second time we were able to sit outside, and the deck is much more spacious than before, and the food and service was, again, excellent. This will be an new favorite spot.

The food was OKAY- would recommend the scallop or crab cake dish(es). Ordered the salmon, which was burnt and tasted like charcoal. Food was overpriced for what we received. Nice location with a great atmosphere, but TERRIBLE service. Waiter hardly acknowledged us. Also not very friendly. Out of the all of the good restaurants in the area, this one would not be at the top of my recommendation list.
